Marlow Town Band is a traditional British brass band based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Established in 1906, the band regularly plays in the local area, as well as all around the South of England. Over the last few years we have played in Bournemouth, London, Windsor, High Wycombe, Henley and many other places in between.
We currently rehearse on Monday evenings (except Bank Holidays) from 8pm to 10pm at the Band Hall which is just off Wethered Road, Marlow. All players are welcome, even if you've not played for many years. A limited number of instruments are available to borrow, free-of-charge. The location of the band hall is shown below.
The band plays a wide variety of music, including classical music, pop music, music from stage and screen, as well as more traditional brass band favourites. We perform at many events throughout the year, with events ranging from; self-promoted concerts, regattas and proms along the river, Christmas carol events, and an annual band tour to Bournemouth every summer.
The band is keen to take a prominent role in the community, and enjoys supporting and hosting events around Marlow and Buckinghamshire. Please click here to see details of our upcoming concerts.
