The Marlow Town Band Terms and Conditions
Booking The Marlow Town Band
All bookings must be made using a booking form, and will should only be confirmed once a signed and dated copy has been received by a member of The Executive Committee (please refer to the details on your booking form). However if you confirm or state your intention to book the band in an email or by fax correspondence prior to returning the signed booking form then we will also accept this as a confirmed booking.
Booking confirmation
Booking Confirmation will be sent by email within one week of your signed booking request being received.
Deposit Payment
The Marlow Town Band reserves the right to charge a 25% booking deposit fee, this deposit requirement will clearly be stated on the booking form.
Payment Terms
Payment is required by the Marlow Town Band 14 days prior to the event or as stated on the Booking Form.
Late Payment Charges
The Marlow Town Band reserves the statuary right to charge interest at base rate + 8% on all late payments in accordance with the “Late Payment of Commercial Debts (interest) Act 1998”.
Inclement Weather
The Marlow Town Band reserves the right not to perform in inclement weather conditions and where suitable wet weather contingency plans have not been made. The Marlow Town Band will still charge the performance fee.

Cancellation of a booking
Cancellations should be notified to a member of The Executive Committee as soon as possible using

Cancellation charges will be applied as follows:
Cancellation notice received between 120 and 90 days prior to the event - no charge
Cancellation notice received between 90 and 60 days prior to the event – will be charged at 25% of the booking fee.
Cancellation notice received between 60 and 30 days prior to the event – will be charged at 50% of the booking fee.
Cancellation notice received between 30 and 15 days prior to the event – will be charges at 75% of the booking fee.
Cancellation notice received between 15 and 0 days prior to the event – will be charged the full (100%) booking fee.
